Administrative ministries are an important part of the St. Elizabeth Seton Parish community. These ministries serve parishioners in a myriad of ways and enable the Parish to function smoothly and in accordance with Canon Law.

If you want to become involved in one of these ministries, please contact the Parish Office.

Finance Council and Collection Counters

According to Canon Law, a financial council is mandatory for a parish. This committee provides counsel to the pastor in all aspects of finance. This group helps prepare the parish budgets and presents a report to the parish community. Members of the Finance Committee provide an expertise and stewardship that helps ensure that our community flourishes.

As a member of a team under the Finance Council, the Collection Counters have the responsibility of preparing the week’s collection for bank deposit.

The library is open after all Sunday morning Masses. There are many wonderful Catholic books and videos to choose from. If there is no one attending the library and you wish to sign out a book or video, there is a list of directions on the wall. Please read and follow these instructions, as we do not wish to lose library materials.

Our church building is over 20 years old and there is a constant need to maintain its structure and surroundings. There is a group of people in the Parish who have expertise in the trades who are able to identify where repairs are required. This allows the Parish to act quickly in order to avoid more costly and extensive repairs.

Religious Articles Store

The Religious Articles store will be open after all Sunday morning Masses. The store is conveniently located in the Library and has gifts for all special occasions – baptism, first communion and confirmation celebrations, as well as rosaries, missals and other items. The store has books for children and adults, to help in spiritual development. We also provide a limited supply of religious articles and goods for people’s convenience.
